I have been breeding my pastel pair for while now and have witnessed many locks but recently they have stopped breeding  The male has bred many more times since with another female so I'm guessing it's the pastel female who's playing stubborn? She has defiantly not ovulated.
Any idea's why they are not be breeding?

they can be defiant, but she may well be building follicles and getting ready to ovulate.
It can take a while. Has she started looking lumpy or hogging the cool end?
Keep throwing him in for a while longer, it is a long process

Well they locked up last night. After 3 weeks with out breeding I thought I would make a thread and then they lock up 
Lynne how you ment to keep a breeding record with out checking on them!!!
