I have managed to keep it alive last year and a half.. I've been lucky with this one; he eats and works perfectly, only thing is his damn bad attitude. Very Happy

One thing: would anyone has a pic of about 1-2 years old ammodytes? I would be very glad to compare this one for a certain V. ammodytes.

PS. Breeder said that it looks latastei gadinata for her too.

Those look a bit different.. yep.
I'm still waiting one opinion what it is (just like I wouldn't believe you Laughing ) but it's very important opinion for me.

How many have you had V. ammodytes with way too bad attitude or is it more like latastei's problem? One friend of mine said that his ammodytes was related to satan himself.

I have bred them since the year of 2000, and they all are bad-tempered. Juveniles and adults, although the adulds seem to be somewhat calmer than the juveniles and semiadults.
Most Vipera sp. have a bad temper.. They are supposed to be that way.. Laughing

Yes, I'm finally satisfied with the fact that he's V. latastei gadinata. But I still think it's good to keep him far away from my fingers. It could ruin my weekend Laughing

Are these species particularly hard to cater for since you said that you have managed to keep it alive for so long, you seem surprised?
