Moved my Gilleni into a different vivarium a couple of weeks ago and noticed an instant change in there behaviour and then the other day saw this, sorry about the poor quality photo! Very Happy

Thanks for the reply's Very Happy well the new viv i moved them to is twice the size, so that and new surroundings obviously perked things up a bit, im going to have another change around in there to fit some cork sheets to all the walls as these do like to climb so it will give them even more cage space to run around in. Very Happy

Hi Jas,

You've hit the nail on the head. Sometimes when you move monitors around from enclosures I find it stimulates them to copulate. I have done this many times in the past and found it to be quite successful, also sometimes even changing the conditions within the enclosure can do this.

Well that female has just laid her four eggs today, i was supprised at the size of them too, a little bigger than a leo egg, whilst she has been gravid the males attention has been on the other female, so will have to see what happens there. Very Happy
