hi all,

just wondering whther someone could give me some ideas for live plants and substrate, or other decor for a naturalistic trinket snake viv. as i should be decorating one at the beginning of next year. Could i put a small pool in the viv, or would they not appreciate that.

i plan to get a viv that measures 36'' x 18'' x 18'' is this an alright size, and how do you heat your adult trinkets?

Hi there,

I think a small pool, say 10-15inch by 6-10 inch would be a fantastic idea, and would be appreciated and enjoyed by the snakes.

I'd recommend a layer of perlite then some potting soil with plants such as pothos, green ivy, dracinia, and ficus (or any non toxic plant that is safe to touch)

Along with a layer of park, and a bit of grape vine for climbage.

Here is one of mine that was for garter snakes, to get your juices flowing.
