ok... Is it normal to see a royal ovulate this early on??
Guess she started growing follicles before you started breeding?? ( roughly how long do follicles grow for before coming “eggs”) Sorry for weird questions just first time breeding this year.

Not normal, very unusual in my experience.Your second question is hard to answer, I may need abit of help with that one.The way I understand it is that the follicles have to reach a certain size before they can become eggs and not until the female mates with a male.Some breeders are able to either feel for follicles or some have really fancy gear to see inside the snake, others like myself just keep putting boy and girl together through out the year.Reason why I do this is that even though my royals are cycled the same way and same times, each female still tends to ovulate in there own time once they have built up good body weight.
