|
|
I want to feed my new crested geckos live food as well as CGD and fruit puree. Ive got some small crickets at the moment but the missus dint like em. Is there any other live food i could give that's not "as creepy"? Can i feed Wax worms or are they too fatty? The geckos are only about 8wks old.Any help is greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Paul |

She doesn't like crickets or locusts or roaches. I know they cant be fed meal works due to the hard skin. So can they be fed wax worms?? Or is there any other live foods? |

A couple every few weeks I'd say so not something you can give as a staple really. Surely the missus can put up with a few teeny locusts |

Well locusts make no noise, don't really smell, aren't particularly fast moving so you can easily catch them if you did drop one. Also they don't 'hide' like crickets or roaches would. |

No worries on the help. Also you can get tiny locusts and because they climb about and dont hide then cresties usually love to stalk them and catch them. As a bit of a rule try and feed livefood items that are no bigger than the distance between their eyes. But a little bigger or smaller won't hurt. I'll just go find you some measurements on locusts and get back to you as quick as I can
Where abouts in Manc are you too matey? |
