Just to let others know.

In Jan 07 i purchased a pair of male n female Beardies - age told to me was 2 & 3 n half years respectively. with a 4ft x2 x 2ft ft viv n accessories for £480. I was told my beardies should live at least SIX years.

ALSO, in April i bought a 14month old (2FT long) Bosc monitor with an 4ft x 2ftx 18inch viv - yes i did say 18" depth for £450. TOTALLY TOO SMALL, but i did not know until with my new baby bosc, i went to see my vet for a checkup, i needed i bigger viv, not a prob, but costly.

However i did not know till I visited my vet Romaine in Dunfermline who advised me that my beardies however were actually in the last stages of life. My female lasted 4months and my male 8months. My 5yr old was devastated. Fortunately i have the finances and the abilities to care for my now extended brood and wouldnt be without even 1 of them. Beware they will take your money, and will mislead you.

I have had problems with critterz aswell I bought my first Leopard Gecko - Niko I bought a setup with him as i was informed they would give me everything i needed and gave my corncob for the substrate for a very young Leo!!
He ate for the first 3-4 weeks and then never ate again no matter how many attempts, care and vet visits. I then took him through to let her see what mess he was in and she just turned round and said it was all my fault and that i should of got in touch earlier even though i sent numerous emails and phoned numerous times and was fobbed off!!
I now realize he was underweight when i got him and she denied there was any problems with him when she sold me him.
He and I went through alot of suffering because of that shops negligence at the start. Let's just say i will never go there again!!!

I would advise anyone to go to serpentus exotics in dunfermiline, Nicki and Ryan are fantastic and actually care about the animals and the owners and are so helpful and LOVELY people and have a fantastic business (more like a mini zoo) Very Happy
