I am in the process of building a four Viv stack and wandered how you would put ceramic tiles as the substrate as I have heard many people do. In the warm end will be a heat mat so how would you tile over this as the wire and connection would make it uneven would it not
Your help would be appreciated _________________ You learn a new thing every day |

The ceramic tiles would probably block most of the heat. I would recommend mounting the mats onto the walls of the vivaria (1 inch from the ground) thereby reducing the risk of contact burns and heating appropriately.

i would of thought that if the tiles were thin enough thay would act as a heat stone and u could just cut a hole for the cables |
