Just wondering if a 60-95g rats are suitable size for my female royals that are breeding at the moment (which should be eating smaller sized prey at this time of year because of breeding) one female is 1,700g and the other is 1,500.

Thanks

Depends on temperatures as well. You should be hitting full temps during the day still. Only feed every 10-14 days and give them 2 days apart after feeding. Should be fine with that.

I'm not really up on the breeding side of things yet, but I would guess that a smaller feed would be offered because the snakes are cooled down to breed and hence digesting is not as affective at lower temps. That's the way I would see it, although I would like to hear a definitive answer from someone whose been breeding years
