It's about time my male cresty had a larger home and seeing as I treated him to a girlfriend yesterday I definitely need a bigger home. So flexarium or terrarium? And what size for 2 yearling cresties? 38 flex or 60x45x45 terr?

My boy is currently on orchid bark but am thinking of using eco earth instead. Good idea?

How are your cresties housed? Thanks

I use a 45 (l) x 45 (d) x 60 (h) for an adult pair and I know of many others who keep one or sometimes 2 more females. When you say 60 x 45 x 45 is the 60 the height, as that's really what's needed, more height than width.

I use orchid bark as well and have never had any problems and like how it looks, but a lot of people use eco-earth which also looks good and I've never heard of any problems with it.

So basiclly, if the terrarium is a 60 height then you are fine using that, I've never used flexariums myself and don't know of many people who do so can't give you any advice on that, but above is how I keep them.

Got any pictures of the Cresties?

No piccies yet, but new girl was eating Mango & Banana puree with CGD off my finger last night! She got a bit over-zealous and had a quick nag Laughing She's a peach. Wll get piccies soon. She's more outgoing than my male so hopefully she'll bring him out of himself.

Yeah the Exo I am looking at is 60 high. Went plant shopping yesterday. Got them a Bromeliad, a Rubber Plant and a Spider Plant. Wink
