admittadly some may not find particularly exciting, but was thrilled to see this lovely coloured Bufo bufo (at least I think) sat in the garden, as we've never found a reptile nor amphibian in our 10+ years of living here.

yeah, the colour had me confused a bit... I don't often see toads, and it wasn't your literature looking specimen, but after a quick glance through google images...

Wasn't active much at all, but I haven't met many toads so my observations of it can't be compared. I was thinking maybe hibernating but then was literally just under very few leaves, so not sure. Either way he was gone when I checked back a day later, my disturbance obviously wasn't welcome Rolling Eyes
