Out of curiosity how can you stunt a snakes growth anyway? By not feeding it or do people do something else?

It happens a lot to pet fish too (especially goldfish). I wish there could be some kind of law in place whereby one must have a suitably sized tank for an animal that was actually enforceable.

stunting a snake means feeding it much less than usual

In other words starving it, I did wonder because there are ways of stunting animals like fish by not feeding them the proper diet when they are young. No excuse for starving an animal though, just because they can go for long periods of time with food doesn't mean they'd want to.

I think my corn and boa would go mad if they didn't get their weekly furry tasty! Shocked

Good God

[sarcasm] Because I think it's a fantastic idea and quite fancy a mini burm myself or maybe a mini anaconda, that'd be fabulous. [/sarcasm] Rolling Eyes

If you'd looked at my first post you'd see my reason for asking the question.
