hay guys just wondering whats the chances of crested geckos tail dropping off in captivity i know it i very common in the wild just wondering the chance in captivity or if it has happened to you ? |

They don't generally drop their tails unless it feels resistance on it i.e. if you hold it by the tail or grab it's tail.
Certainly normal handling shouldn't result any them dropping their tails unless they feel underthreat. _________________

thanks for that so it sounds pretty uncommon then do you know if its happened to anyone also heard injections can lead to this to ? is that true |

i suspect a lot adults with dropped tails in captivity may be due to breeding behavior _________________
