I thought one of my female rats were looking like a small orange, woke up this morning to find that she has laid what i can see 8 little pink things well happy
This is the first litter so shouldant be long till the other female drops.
So now its got me thinking..... how long dose it take to get from a pinky to lar adult rat (for my boa) and the stages inbetween, any info would be a great help. |

female 1 had about 7 baby's and the other has about 6 from what i can see, but both females were quite small. |

If the female ratty is still quite young when she has her first litter there will not be all that many babies. Yes two females in together will 'adopt' each others babies... |

I'd say 12 weeks plus, and they are adults, males get larger than females though. 3 weeks old is about the size of an adult mouse. _________________ www.ratsnakefoundation.org |
