Thanks rick

I have a question
noticed today that camilla was on the edge of the sand box and she was tasting the sand (its playsand ) now is it because she is testing the sand to lay or maybe i have added calcium to the water i spray could she be after the calcium that the water has dripped into the sand ??
anyone else had this before , she has never done this before ??
cheers rob

Hmmmmmm at times I have seen some of my chams scoff some dirt out of the plant pots. Maybe for minerals, maybe for moisture, but they are doing it for a reason just hard to say what the reason is.

My guess would be they are after certain minerals and their instinct directs them towards dirt, sand or whatever the medium is. Could be the calcium as you say.
