So here's what has happened.
Feeding time, get to the spotted pythons (who are always over exited about food).
Snake strikes out misses prey item and grabs two small pieces of beech chipping in his mouth, I immediately pick up the snake to assist with removal manage to dislodge one piece the other piece during the tussle has vanished. Leaving me to believe he my have swallowed it. This was a fairly small piece of chipping, would one assume this should pass threw his system with out any trouble or is this a problem and if so what are the signs i should look for.
Incidentally he was not to phased by this at the time and continued to feed. _________________ retierd and spending my childrens inheritance. |

I dont think it will be a big problem, the stomache acids will dissolve it! _________________ Regards, Paul.

I agree with Paul. The snakes stomach acid will cope with almost anything!

I've had this happen before with small beech chippings etc, the snake should be fine.
Only time you need worry is if the chipping is visible in the body of the snake which usually doesn't occur due to being hard to swallow in the first place _________________
