I had to do a double take there when I saw the snake. Shocked I forgot you lived in Bali! Laughing Nice find indeed.

Argh, why cant this happen when we are visiting you - so unfair, lol. Pete is going to be so jealous.
Did you capture and keep it Jon?
Maybe its not the cats getting the tegus after all.

You have got me worrying about Vanny and Wyang now, I hope you patrol the garden before them.

King cobras are quite nice as venemous snake go, easy to handle and move about rarely being agressive.

I have seen quite a few on my travels in bali recently, I think they are congregating for breeding currently as it just starting the wet season here.

This one will be an inmate for a while, lots of fresh tree snakes here for food.

The coconut trees are more dangerous in my garden than snakes !! I have often wondered how many people get killed each year from falling coconuts + coconut leaves,

I haven't seen a cat in my garden for a while now Very Happy

Thanks for looking, Officially there hasn't been a sighting of a King cobra on bali since 1950, but I think thats mostly to keep the tourists coming !!!
