Hi all I have recently bought various bamboo pieces for my tanks which will house cresties how do i go about disinfecting them etc? and what is the safest way to clean silk plants ?

i usually bathe everything in boiling hot water then stick it under a shower 2 make sure everything is clean and slightly cooled down
