I think I managed to photograph most of the diffused corns I have here ... a big challenge, royals are so much easier to photograph than corns, so excuse any blurring on these!
Diffused female
Pewter (charcoal blood) female
Fire (amel blood) male
Granite (anery blood) female
Striped fire (striped amel blood) male
Bloodred male
Hypo pewter (hypo charcoal blood) female
Bloodred male |

Very nice!
I have decided that this is the area I want to concentrate on with corns, the plain Bloodreds being my favourite. _________________ European Protected Species Licensing - Do you know enough?

It is such a versatile gene - and it's so cool to watch them change as they grow. My aim with them is completely patternless corns, hence wanting to add stripe in there as it helps so much.
My big bloodred female is not very diffused, but she's always been an easy feeder, and very sweet tempered. Since bloods have a (mainly deserved) reputation for being vicious and difficult feeders as young'uns, I reckon even with her colour/pattern faults, her babies will make a good contribution to my bloodred gang. |

You picked well - I hope they love each other as well The granite girl is het amel stripe, so one day when they're more grown hopefully they'll produce me some nice fully striped striped bloods het anery, so I can make snow striped bloods in future ...
The main things to remember when photographing corn snakes are to take lots of photos, occasionally put them under plant pots/hides, and then snap a picture quickly as you remove the hide (as it's the only way to get them to stay still), and to be pleased with slightly blurry photos as it's the best you're getting ... |
