|
|
Hi everyone...
I have one egg in the incubator at 28 degrees C at the moment...and it has been in there for 40 days now. It is still plump, and quite white (whilst the other decayed completely)...I never got a chance to candle it, so I just wanted to know if infertile eggs lasted this long normally? What are people experience of fertile and non fertile eggs?
I'll try and get a pic later too... _________________

I'm actually using moss....the first egg never stood a chance as it was laid in an awkward position, that's why it decayed...but the other still appears to be fine...no denting or anything.... _________________

infertile eggs can last ages sometimes,i had one about 2 years ago and it was maybe three months before it went mouldy,i grew quite attatched to it in the finish martinb20....if your eggs are dimpling try getting a clump of slightly dampened moss and laying it loosely over the eggs, this creates a great humid enviroment around the egg itself and works wonders on eggs that you woul think have failed _________________ www.jamieswordsreptiles.com |

just get a torch and shine a bit of light on it,if its for real its look solid by day 40 it's long past the red glow stage,if its pants it'll just look either see through or like gunk _________________ www.jamieswordsreptiles.com |
