As you all know moving house and last to be moved will be the parrot..reason being will have to dismantle the cage to get it out the house its huge..He has only been in a carrier when I first got him years ago..any tips to make it less stressfull for him?..Going to do it in the morning so that we can spend all day and night with him also... _________________

My uncle played some music that his african grey liked while they were doing there move, it was about 4 hours away from where he lived though, calmed it down a treat, and that bird is as highly strung as a piece of string on a very high thing.
Maybe talk a lot to it and give it treats? _________________ MORE THAN 2! |

Cheers mate the journey is 20 mins and then 2 days to put the cage back together..lol _________________

Thanks mate..I think he will be ok but will certainly stress him a little..have been taking Dennis over throughout the week to get him used to it and he seems ok once in there now..at first he wasn't lol!.. _________________
