After many years of using the old 'cadbury' type box in my wooden racking system I finally decided that I had too many babies to carry on with that system (worked great but took too long removing lids etc) so I bought myself some Vision Racks.

Had to drive over to Holland to buy them, ended up with 3 hatchling racks and one CB70 ball python rack.

They all come flat packed & boxed up so it was easy to fit 3 in the back of a van, the fourth came back with a friend (thanks Simon).

We put them altogether last night, first one took about 90 minutes and the second and third about 40 mins each. There's NO instructions in with them Evil or Very Mad which I'm sure would of saved time and frustration but we got there in the end.

Got to say that they are extremely well made and all slot together perfectly. Each rack holds 60 tubs and each tub is about twice the size of a cadbury type tub. They are also lidless so cleaning, feeding & watering will now only take minutes per rack instead of hours like the old system.

Obviously I've not tested the racking out for any period of time but so far I have to say they are 100% spot on, I can't wait to get some more now.

Look very neat,

are the shelves solid? w

hat material are the shelves made from?

The hatchling rack looks really tall??

We have to glue our own melamine together here which takes forever, so ive been looking at other options as the humidity rots wood very quickly.

Jon,
they are injection mould panels with ventilation holes, looks like they have just the right amount in the right places (around the edges and a mass at the front and back.

The rack is pretty tall, just fits under a door frame.

There's nothing to rot or rust on these either so are perfect in any environment.

yep those instructions are a joke Evil or Very Mad

You get these plastic 'back stops' that prevent the tubs from pushing out the back, each back stop has FOUR bolt holes and you get a bag of bolts...now common sense would tell you to fill all four holes but lucky enough I had seen the 'instructions' online and you must only put 2 bolts in each piece...I can imagine loads of people not seeing those intructions and running out of those bolts and getting really annoyed Laughing

That's not bad at all - I'll have to wait until they make enough to fill demand first at that price!
