I picked up my first wee gecko at weekend. a wee hypo male. now, he was in with another male, they are just babies just now, but can anyone tell me, could he be lonely, or will he settle down ok without the other. i know you cant keep males together when older, so was not wanting to have to separate them later. also he is not eating a lot, is this because he is settling in yet, or should i be worrying. i have only tried him with crickets up to now, what other foods does everyone give theirs. i know waxworms should only be a treat. and he has a bowl of calcium stuff in with him and the crickets get dusted too. will get some pictures up when i get them.
i called him crowe, cause russell crowe is just awesome. imo. _________________

If they were old enough to be sure they were male, they were old enough to fight
He'll be better off on his own during the first few months to get him big enough _________________ A lil bit of Madagascar

Might take a couple of days to settle in but they usually will take straight away, try a range of foods.
5 waxies a week is what most of my baby/sub's get and the adults get around 8-10, with crickets, locust, morios, mealworms, moths, stick insects mixed in.
He should be fine without the other one, they would likely have ended up having a go at each other soon anyway. _________________ MORE THAN 2! |
