Meet Kifaru (means 'Rhino' in Swahili Cool ), my new little baby male Meru Jackson's chameleon - who seems to take great enjoyment out of walking on the exo-terra viv mesh upside down! Rolling Eyes He's from Ally's babies Cool (Thanks Ally!)

He ate a cricket within five minutes of being in his enclosure, but now just wants to hang upside down, rather frustratingly! Rolling Eyes

And the pic Ally sent me

Comments welcome! Cool

You'd have to ask her yourself TBH Wink

He's still up on the roof - hope he's happy in there, but I guess he is!

EDIT: Mcfluffin - you keep pymies - and these tolerate high temps about the same - so you shouldn't have a problem!

As long as it get's to about 19-20C you should be fine. Depends on how many reptiles you have in the same room though. He's in my bedroom and in summer, the window'll be open, which should cool the room right down. In winter it's okay. Smile

Hmmm...not convinced it will stay at 19-20 during the summer months...more like 23-24 probably...not for long periods though? What's their setup like...less ventilation more humidity?

Fair enough. In my house it can get quite cold at night Laughing Even in summer (especially with our summers lately!). Would be interested if Ally uses aircon in summer..?

And yes, pretty similar to the pygmies ventilation-wise Smile
