hi just got our 1st ever leo , female and just 2 months old ( no name yet ) we only had her 1 day so leaving her 2 settel in to her new home . ( but couldnt resist 1 pic ) hope to get lots more pics later . we never fed her on ist night as instructed 2 by reptile shop where we got her but will feed tonight [/img]

here is my set up i have play sand at hot end (heat mat 90oC) and slate at cold end . hide's at hot and cold ends and moist hide half on hot and half on cold .
wot do you thing is this set up ok for my leo

Smile thanks . hope she settles in ok , saw her out and about last night when all the lights were off and by the footprints in the sand she,s been doing a fair bit of exploring . will feed her 2night for 1st time see how that goes .

thanks guys . not sure if the heat mat is warm enough . it reaches 90 sometimes and if i move themomiter to front part of the mat its not as warm . thermistat is coming on and off ok and is set at 90 . also gecko has not done toilet yet we got her sunday never fed her till monday evening is this normal or could it be to do with temp .

Can you get a reading of where the leo can get at the heat with preferably an infrared thermometer, if not a good accurate one?
90f is fine temp wise, she might still be settling in and waiting for a toilet, or she could have done it somewhere sneaky and you haven't found it yet Wink
