No offence but you will get pretty much what you pay for with lenses and tbh its worth saving up and getting something that you will not regret buying.. _________________

Portraits?..most use something around the 50-85mm range for that..as for landscapes I would have thought a wide angle would be better myself? _________________

If your looking to blur the background with that lens when using it for portraits you may be disappointed as its at best an f4 lens which is a slow lens at 75mm...maybe get yourself an 85mm prime like the 1.8...this will be ideal for your portraits or even the 50mm 1.4.. both within your range.I'm not quite understanding what you mean by getting depth?.. _________________
