Oldest scam in the book. If you were daft enough to put the cheque in your bank and pay this thief the rest you would find the cheque bouncing in the next few days.If they wanted to pay you by cheque why did they not make the cheque out for the price of the goods? |

scam! it can even take weeks for the bank to realize its a dodgy cheque so by that time you think the funds have cleared but then the bank will just take it back again and you will have an empty bank account |

Hmmm Thought as much have told my daughter not to go down that road. As it would all end up in tears.
The cheque (HSBC) was sent from Interpipe service Ltd.
Now we have the cheque would it help if we took it to the bank and explained so they could look into this. _________________ Bearded Dragons 2.3.19 Oscar, Archie, Crystal,Katy and Petal |

tell him you have lodged the cheque but want to wait 6 years to see if it turns out to be stolen, if you had of went through with it he would never have even turned up for the sofa, he is only interested in the shipping money that you would be paying his "friend" with, money which you think is his to begin with |
