Please`could you share your experiences.

I really want to get a pair of these little beauties.
Though I've heard some mixed reports about there temperaments, I guess the CB are more likely to be more placid.

I saw some LTC yesterday and they were possessed rather Argo to say the least. Twisted Evil

Any one out there breeding these guys,

I've got 2.2, all placid, very handleable though quite a fast snake, can be a bit timid. The females feed well and are growing like weeds, the males we have had problems with and are currently fasting.

I find them an enjoyable snake to keep. Anything else just ask.

Ours are LTC. We got them last August from Snakes N Adders in Leeds. We haven't had a chance to breed them yet, on account of various health/ husbandry problems. Fingers crossed for next year.

I'll cross my toes to

hopefully success is around the corner for you, would be great to see more CB savu's along with a number of the more unseen kept species of pythons, I'm sure once this starts happening people will get a better understanding of these animals and realize that a lot of the myths surrounding these serpents and tails of aggressive natures are purely due to animals been taken from the wild, shipped over vast distances to face unfamiliar confinements...

Yikes I sound like a preacher... Embarassed Laughing

Any how best of luck for yourself and the savu's on a whole and the rest of us.

one last thing where yours always docile or did it take some persistent handling and grace to reach this point, cause i saw a pair, which i must say i am very keen to acquire, though they where terrors.
not that that's there fault though i feel it would be very rewarding to try and breed these we beasties and contribute towards there being more CB available.
In my opinion they are spectacular serpents.

All four of ours have lovely temperaments, although the biggest female can be snappy at night time if disturbed.

Thank you for your good wishes!

we have 2.1 savus in at the moment that came in on a later shipment to lol93 and ballguys's. Im glad to hear they are doing well, never had an doubt. I think you may be in for a pain in the arse of a time breeding savus. Very hard by all accounts, getting the eggs is easy enough but getting them to hatch, there lies the problem. Id hunt and hunt for as much info as possible.

I certainly wouldnt rely on CB being readily available next year. I hope that they do pull it off because savus babies are quality.. Bright orange with black flecks and white eyes!!!!!

I think from what i have heard when the day has been shortened and night extended the day is hotter than that usual for other pythons during brumation. Usually ther temps rises from 30-31 bask to 33 bask but only for 8 hours then there night drop goes from 27-28 down to 23.

I think from what i remember savus need to been a couple of degrees warmer like 34-35 (hot spot) and then cool em off down to like 21-22.

Dont rely on this information as it was a long time ago when i heard this im sure you will find more substantial evidence than this.

Best of luck regards chaz
