Looks real nice mate but I would worry about the heat from that ceramic(?) in the viv below overheating the tub above..

Looks great - very professional Very Happy But as Mr Cuddles said, the ceramics do transfer a lot of heat upwards

Reflector should minimise that, plus its not hard against the roof the top viv so hopefully some room to displace, just need to keep an eye on it and if it becomes an issue remove that tub.

Thanks for your comments though

Oh dear me no, thats a python in that tub, beardies in the top viv and ackies in the bottom one, reason ackies are in bottom is cos they need more heat and wanted to minimise the risk of heat transfer.

Ok thoughts so..my concern was for the tub you have on top of the beardies as with the heatmat at the back and where its positioned over the beardeds ceramic it won't have a cool end and may well get too hot for the snake..

Point taken, never thought about the front of the tank, i will stick a thermostat there as well but the rack is 2ft deep and ceramic is right at back so might be ok, but i'll check it out, cheers.

Cool No worries mate..I couldn't believe it when I had some tubs on top of a viv like that and used a infared temp gun to measure the floor inside the tub and it was way to high for a snake..as for the rack though it looks real nice, just got to fill that top shelf now. Wink
