Today I cleaned out one of my males and put him briefly in with a female, I left for a minute to go get a drink and came back to see them bashing around in the tub together. I removed the male straight away as I was concerned about the female damaging and crushing him. My question is, is this normal breeding courtship behavoir or was it the females way of saying I'm not interested? Confused

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

, but are you sure it's a female ,the way you describe it sounds more like two males combating.

It is definately a female, weighing 2250 grams. Was bought and probed as a female, have never heard of males attaining that weight.

it could well be a male,i believe jaymc has a gigantic male i cant remeber the exact size of him but he's huge Shocked

I have a 1900g normal male, so not 'that' far off Laughing

I bought a royal that was over 2,000 grams turned out to be male sent it back got my cash back. you just never know

, I am going to probe him/her again when I get the chance. Really hoping it is not a male as I don't have a need for a normal male (the person I bought it from also said that it was 100% het albino) although I have no paperwork to prove this so have it down as a normal. I will update this thread when I have probed him/her.
