BOA MOVING INTO VIV

just moved my boa into a viv after having her in tub for a while. i used a heat mat with the tub, what would you all advise using in the viv? i use heatmats and stats for the corns, but i have read this is not so good for the boas.

not keen on bulbs, so would the ceramic do, and can you leave them on all the time, statted of course!

No reason why not..if you want to give it a night time drop just turn the stat down a few degrees

I use mainloy Heatmats (on stats) and I have just moved my Boa into a viv and stuck with the same tried and tested method.
I think the biggest issue with Heatmats is that people fear the animal will come into direct contact with heatmat.
I simply place cork tiles (raised 10mm with little sticky feet) onto the heatmat, then place the substrate (in this case bark) on top of that.
As yet I haven't had any problems.
My other vivs use Microclimate AHS units which I favour over anything else.
