Could it be made compulsory to put your approximate address (i.e. South-East Kent) in the classified section/website? Most animals really need picking up, as do most vivs and equipment, so it would sometimes be nice to know when local things pop up on there. Instead of asking every person who's selling a 3ft viv where they live...you could just see from the ad...does anyone else have this feeling? _________________

Sounds like a plan to me, although I think most good sellers do post where they are based. |

There are quite few changes being made to the classifieds soon and stating your location will be one of them... _________________

Excellent...I know it would make things easier...Thanks Stu...
As for the good sellers, you're probably right...but then again, some people (namely me) are just plain lazy when it comes to computery things _________________

the new classifieds are only a few weeks away, one of the changes will be a requirement to input the first half of your postcode as a location, that will then link to a map showing potential buyers approximately where you are
You will also have the choice of how many adverts you want per page and what type of adverts you wish to view (snakes, lizards, amphibs, all etc)
Also a big step forward is FREE photo hosting, so you can add images directly to the adverts
All this and it will still be FREE _________________

there'll be some other good features too (able to print an advert, send to a friend, news, related auctions, breeders listings and snazzy new layout and graphics).
The only key difference is that all advertisers will need to register to post adverts (again fast and free), we are hoping this will cut down on spammers and scammers.
Viewers can of course browse all adverts without registering _________________
