Hey all,
I got Angel out of her viv last night for a little handling session, although she was a little jumpy she was quite calm and relaxed. When i tried to put her back into her viv she didn't want to go and kept turning herself round climbing back up my arm to escape her viv( nothing unusual there as she never likes to go back in her viv lol ). Then i felt her whole body start vibrating whilst she was climbing back out the viv up my arm, she wasn't rattling her tail or anything.
Any ideas as to why her body was vibrating? Was she just protesting to going back into the viv?
It certainly felt strange as she's never done it before. |

I have had them vibrate the tail / back end, usually to say 'Sod Off' but heard it might be something to do with breeding or wanting to breed or something, any males about? _________________ MORE THAN 2! |

Yes Angel is a carolina corn, she's only about 7 months old so i dunno about her being turned on yet.
She's the only reptile i own , so no males are about.
It was just a really strange feeling, her whole body seemed to vibrate. Maybe she was excited about something, who knows lol. Anyways she hasn't done it since, and she seems healthy and happy enough.
Thanks for the replies both of you |
