This is Guinness, our Asian water monitor in his bath. We got him last August from Chas at Snakes N Adders, and he's doing well. Sorry about the poo in his water, but it was the only chance I had to snap him!

Herp-boi & MJ-We have a garage conversion planned for him, and if we can sort out filtration, a garden pond as a bath (the plastic, ready made ones). I'll try to get a pic of his present viv, which is 6.5x2.5 feet(ish).
Karen-that's a normal sized cat litter tray he's in, so that should give you an idea of size. I would say SVL about 1.5 feet(max!).
He is eating rats, mice, day old chicks and quail chicks at the moment(not interested in insects!). _________________

He means we rarely see him-he hides a lot, unless food's on the go! _________________

And he's definitely a mummy's boy!
Last time I saw him properly he was about 6" snout to vent, but that's the problem with diurnal reptiles and a job with long hours.
Also he's fair shot up since he got on to the weaners. _________________ “If in doubt, just say nowt” |
