I think they give out more of a direct heat verses the radiated heat from the oil filled radiators so I'm guess it will still heat the room but will also heat up what ever is in front of it a great deal. _________________ Paul

no good for a rep room. I have one in my conservatory and it only really heats up what its pointing at. quite bright too so only good for daytime heating _________________
