To be honest the mangroves are the shops now, I'm not as keen on them as the other boigas. The gemmicincta used to be mine, but I did not enjoy them as much so gave them to a colleague who loved them. But they have remained in the same viv in the shop the whole time. Not sure why i am not as keen, it is not their feisty nature as I love the blandingii and they are very feisty.
Apparently they are all quite feisty, although the gemms were not particularly feisty when I had them. but hooks are the order of the day. I had fun with them today, I was after a strike shot but couldnt catch one.
It is pretty important to get the humidity right with them. Give them a large tall viv with plenty of branches, foliage and corkbark hides and they seem to be fine. ( 4ft high x 3 ft) _________________ Cheers Angi
