well its the begining of another exciting breeding season and i was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice on what they do when they have a "lazy male" breeder. 2 years ago i had a pastel male that was 900 grams and would not show any interest in any female i paired him with. i foud that placing a shed from another male in the same enclosure helped kick things into gear.......what are some other suggestions or any other experiences you guys/gals have had?????

thanks-justin

in the VPI book, i've read it's useful placing males in with not so game females when the females are in shed. and also after they've shed when the shed skin releases pheremones and excites the males. Other than that i'm going to have to wait and see what tricks i have to use this season.

yep the shed skin is a good one, years back I used to save up all fresh shed skins from my pythons & boas and freeze them ready for the breeding season.
