I have a thing about Diegos at the moment, I think its because they are a bit different from the everyday panthers.

Last year more or less to the day I aquired two lovely, but very small baby Diego Suarez, here are some pics of one of them. I will take some pics of the other when I get a chance. Both have turned out well, I am very happy with them. Both very much alpha males.

at rest he is very nice but when fired up the colour changes amaze me, the colour variations that one cham can exhibit are mind boggling.

I don't know whether it's just because he's puffed up, but is this fella pretty chunky?

Thanks all, yes he is very chunky, one of my largest panthers and only a year old, my other Diego is also very large.

Thanks, admittedly ambilobes / Picasso's etc are highly colourful but there is something about the Diego's that does it for me. Don't get me wrong I still like the others to.

Shall try to get some pics of the other Diego later.
