|
|
I am planning to build a new rack for my royals.
It is actually going be be a sack of Viv's.
I am not a fan of tubs that why I am sticking with Viv's (I say that now until more come along)
1. What is the biggest/smallest size of Viv for a adult royal over 2kg.
2. What is the biggest/smallest size of Viv for a baby
Thanks
PS I was going to post in the Viv section but this sack is only for royals, so sorry if I am wrong |

I used to keep mine in vivs but to be honest they didnt use them so I resorted to tubs, much better IMO. Easier to clean too _________________ A lil bit of Madagascar

I keep babies in 2ftx2ftx2.5ft(lxwxh) subs in 3/4ft's and only have one adult female at the minute and she is in a 5ftx3ftx3.5ft.
Not got any problems with any of mine feeding or shedding and they all use the space bar one which stays in its hide. _________________ MORE THAN 2! |

I use the ikea komplement boxes. So easy, when they make a mess you put them in a clean one and clean dirty one out withou disrturbing the snake too much.

Christ that's some Viv you have there.
I have previously kept them in 4ft, just wanted some fed back before I build a new one. |

She likes the space to move about, so I have given her the space I have available, got even bigger vivs in the loft that I have empty at the minute apart from a burm I am housing for a friend.
Adult female would be sorted in a 4ft though
But like a lot of people have said though tubs are just as good as sometimes better if you have fussy feeders, either those ikea ones or Iris tubs I think are great. _________________ MORE THAN 2! |

Flat packed then built in situ, wouldnt have fancied carrying those up the stairs was bad enough when my big stack came ready built instead of flat packed and had to get it up the stairs and it nearly fell backwards twice and ended up having to take the banisters off and all kinds, wasn't happy but got there in the end. _________________ MORE THAN 2! |
