As any body got one of the proracks
8 level Ikea system
system size H1790 x W610 x D968
Tub size D880 x W500 x H170
£750 - includes tubs, heat mats and 1 pulse stat Recommended extra - fused junction box and second stat £90.00 extra
If so could you post pics of how they are ventilated. eg with box pulled out.
Also what size heat mats are used and how well they retain heat/ humidity.
And whether yo think they are great or not.
thanks

Pretty sure you won't get any replies as John hasn't released any of the IKEA tub racking yet
You can have it vented how you like, either a perforated top (like my LP racks design) or a solid top if you want extra humidity. The heat mats would be 12" wide I guess, again the same as LP racks.
I personally think the IKEA tubs are the best non purpose made snake tubs available, being the perfect size and height and cheap too!
I will be asking John to make me several units to hold these tubs ready for next season. _________________

I use pro-racks for some of my younger Carpets and cant fault them it pays to buy quality. I don't have the one you are asking about but my mate does they are vented by having a small gap around the top of the tub when they are in there drawers John has also fitted acrylic windows now to the tub. _________________

Do you have a link to these tubs? I saw some smaller IKEA tubs at Hamm which looked very good but can't find them on there site/catalogue.
Cheers
