The first 4 pictures are the same monitor. I am interested in the 5th one but I need to know the difference in locality so i can search and purchase one. I like the pattern of the 5th one and Im sure they are not the same. Please explain the difference .

hi, the first 4 look like V s salvator to me? The last one is a little confusing because it looks like it could be V s cumingi but scaled up, excuse the pun should be yellower though, so? not sure.. _________________ http://s124.photobucket.com/albums/p17/Bird-fly/

I agree. None of these are cummingis. I definently know how those look. Here in the u.s i notice that everyone that sells water monitors have the same ones. The ones that look like the baby picture up top. How come I dont see the ones with the thick bands around its back anymore. Now there just dots that go across. Im sure they are not the same and are from a diff locality. The baby has patterns similar to a sumatran however I own a sumatran and it is very YELLOWISH all over the body not just the patterns so im a little confused. |

you may want to ask John Adragna questions of locality for your water monitors or Michael Cota. They are both very knowledgeable about many of the different patterns of Salvator and likely places they're from
here's a link to Johns site
