I kept Rankins for a few years and bred them too, they are great little lizards, reasonably easy to keep, great to handle and cool as u like, very similar in temperament to beardies even more docile in fact i've never seen one thats agressive in any way, well mine werent anyways! ... You cant go wrong really!

awsome i would get a beardie but tbh i aint got the room in my bedroom the space i have is approx just over 3t which apparently is plenty of room 4 2 rankins but not really for beardies lol plus i like the look of um.
about there temperment, a friend of my aunty her son has a beardie and he gets really worked up when ever u go near him, beard goes really really black n kinda growls at you lol i told him its just down 2 his age as heis relitivly young still. is that about right?
also whats all the stuff about cross between rankins and beardies?? whats the difference?

i could not recommend rankins enough, they are great, exactly like beardies but like half the size, and therefore much easier to accommodate.

their temperament is fine if handled from a young age, mine wasn't so is a bit grumpy, you can pick him up, but only after a bit of a chase and alot of scrabbling, so i try to do as little as possible. but that is the same with most pets, if they have had regular contact with a human being ever since they were little they are fine
