Hi there, I am trying to drum up support for our IHS group in Castleford, Leeds. We are having a talk by Graeme Skinner on November 14th on the subject of UK Herpetofauna. Graeme Skinner is a leading authority on this subject, he has studied this subject on a personal level and on a professional one. He is also the managing director of Naturally Wild Consultants LTD, which was founded in 1998 as a specialist herpetological consultancy, the website is: http://www.naturallywild.co.uk/. Graeme is an excellent photographer and his photos to support his talks are absolutely amazing.
We are trying to get as many people as possible to come along and show support. The group numbers have been dwindling over time and I know there are so many reptile keepers in the Yorkshire area that should come along and share their experience and knowledge with people. Beginners are more than welcome, are a very friendly bunch of hobbyists and we love to help out were we can. So please, if you have got a free evening and want to see an excellent talk by a professional herpetologist come along, show support for our hobby and just generally have a great time!
I forgot to mention, its in a Pub!!!
The time and address for those who want to come along is:
The Brit
Lock Lane
Castleford
Leeds
If you come along around 7:30pm, the talks normally commence from about 8ish.
For more information please dont hesitate to e-mail me.
Thanks

Hi I've just had a look and it looks as though there is a train station at Castelford, you would have to check on the times from your end though. I'm not sure how far the station is from the pub though, I come from Middlesbrough to the club and I don't know Castleford at all! I should be able to arrange a collection for you from the station though if it is far away. _________________ 20 years experience in reptile keeping.

Well, its next wednesday so I am hoping that I will see some new faces there. If you have a free night and want to hear a talk from a very experienced herpetologist please come along and show your support for the IHS. It will be free if its your first time, normally subs are £1.
