Hi everyone,

As you may know, I have 4 baby Crested Geckos, kept in 2 seperate cages (2 in each), I just wondered, is it okay to keep them all together or should I be keeping them apart still. The 2 in one cage are a month older than the other 2, and just a little bit bigger.

P.s. Just a quick update on my last 2 eggs...I came home from my holiday to find that they had completely dried out and completely dented in (I hadn't just left them, I had given them to someone). There was no chance of any being alive, on both eggs one side completely dented to touching the other side. And once I looked inside, there was 2 formed babies that didn't look for away from hatching Crying or Very sad

First off sorry about the 2 last eggs, never nice to find. And about the other geckos, how big is the size difference? Can you get some measurements or pics? I would say without seeing them that they are probably best being kept in the 2 and 2 that you have now.

There's a chance that the larger two could bully the smaller pair but I know of plenty of people who are keeping babies of different sizes together without any problems. I imagine that they are providing plenty of hiding places and food for them.

At the moment all of mine are kept in pairs but that's down to me wanting to make it easier to identify them. Smile

Cresteds are very tolerant of each other, especially as hatchlings.

I keep mine in large groups, I then slowly thin the numbers down into seperate cages as they grow, obviously always grouping the larger ones together.

The key points in group housing are providing multiple hides and visual barriers and keeping a constant supply of food (also hygiene too Wink )
