Hi everyone who read my last post about my missing boy Denny i found him on Saturday, he was alive but only just Sad he was lying on his back in the dining room. Don't know how on earth he got the energy to drag himself to the middle of the floor. I phoned the reptile vet and she said i had 2 choices take him in and get him put to sleep or let him die in peace i chose the latter he was too far gone and i didn't want to impose any more stress on him just wanted to make him comfortable while he slipped away (some people may disagree with my choice but i personally felt it was best for him). so i put him in his moist hide in his tank and made him nice and warm and he died after a couple of hours in his favorite spot. I'm just so upset i didn't find him sooner I wish i could of stopped his suffering. Crying or Very sad
At least he came back to let me say my goodbyes :'(
Thank you everyone for your help and concerns you all helped allot
Love Gemma
R.I.P Denny sadly gone but never forgotten Sad

Hi There

I followed you're previous posting, I am so sorry for your loss you must be devastated. It is very hard to say goodbye to a loved pet but at least you let him go with dignity in his viv. I think you did the right thing by Denny.

Hi Sheila
Thank you for your kind thoughts and words they help. I am devastated there was something special about him he had a charm about him. I felt it was best and i think he was as comfortable as he could be really.

It was clear he had no more fight in him his eyes were basically closed and he couldn't stand, I'm glad i found him even if it was too late, he just needed a warm bed to spend his last hour in.

Thanks
Gemma
