Why do they do that? Laying on their back I mean:-) nice lizards:-)

Not sure Matt, every heloderma keeper I have spoken to has seen the same thing....they also said how much they panicked the first time they saw it....they just look dead! (it's quite a relief when you open the cage and they right themselves ready to bite you Laughing )

I know Scott, the first time for my was with a Suspectum how was sleeping on his back between some newspapers, I thought my heart was stopping to pump.
This is a learning for every helodermakeeper, strong heart

some of the fun I have to look forward to then scott/helo? hehe:-) They seem to be very strange creatures indeed from what I have seen.
