believe this or not.
Last week, someone who I don't know who he is, has dumped this on my doorstep last in the afternoon while I was out. And to top this up, I have got a strange phone call from a neighbour asking me if I got this cham okay. My neighbour has met the guy but she does not know who he is, only knows that he wanted me to have this cham. So there's she is...
I know she is a panther cham and she is a she. But with her still being young, I don't know what colour she will turn into. But have to say she is gorgeous. I managed to get an exa terra tank for her from the wholesaler as wholesaler price to keep her until she grows out of that. Probably need to build her a big tank at the end of the year. She has now moved into my reptile room and she seems happy.
She is ever so friendly and will come and sit on my hands whenever I open the cage, even on day one, so that proves she is well looked after in her previous owner's house.
Funny thing is people has asked me to rescue or dumped furries in the past, but having a cham is the very first time. And I think this guy knows me but just want to keep that secret.
Here are some pics. Hope you like them. If anyone knows the colour of her, please let me know. She is like orange / browny colour and is so different from what other panthar chams I have got.

She was in a cardboard box with a t-shirt in. That's it. Nothing else, not a note or anything. I have not got her a name yet as I am pretty crap with names. I only start to think of a name if any of my animals have to go to the vet. LOL.
I think she is gorgeous. I hope this guy is not a stalker but an admirer. LOL. And I don't mind having more of these chams dumped on my doortstep.
Good job I always have a spare tank set up at home, of course not big enough or perfect but I can just alter a little and use that as a temp home / hospital tank. So this little gem was okay to live in that tank until I got a new exa terra one for her the very next day. |

Loverly looking Panther Chameleon, Its going to be tricky to work out what morph she is as female Panther Chameleons are far less colourfull as the males.
I'm sure Ricck Or Ian will chip in & hopefully give some advice or thoughts to her locality.

Thanks.
Jo, yes a cham is always better than a bunch of flowers, only hubby now thinks I have an affair.
kroakykaren, hehe I honestly don't mind people dump animals on my door steps (I do rescue in the past, but not anymore though 'cos it's just too hard work and I have not got time especially I am working full time). But that's it, I hate to know half way and nothing after that. It's either people do not tell me, I am okay with that, but when people try to tell me a little bit, that really b*g me in big time. Nothing I can really do though, but I hate it. |
