After a week of worry over my new panther cham 'bert', he has finally started to settle in!
It took him a while...! He's been jet black for the past week, with no change in colour (even after shedding), unless he is asleep...
But i got him out of the tank today and let him walk on me (and some nearby plants), and he calmed down straight away...!
Had great fun tying headphone chords to my legs leading to various houseplants and climbable objects in my front room and letting him have a wander.
Was expecting him to turn black the second i put him back in the tank (which he did), but checked him 5 minutes later, and he had the most amazing vertical stripes on him, and some great potential on his eye turrets!
good old bert...

This is the 1st time we've done it, and it was lovely to have him out and about.
Soo tempting to get him out, but mum knows best..
