i would house them in something smaller for there first few months .
then what i have been doing with my babies is getting them out of their housing every second day and trying to hand feed them a little CGD on a spoon .
there is also CGD in a little dish in the tank , i also put a few micro brown crickets in there too . and in the morning most of the time there is no crickets left .
before putting them in such a big tank i would wait till you knew they were eating the CGD out the dish you have in the tank _________________ Eyeless frogs welcome...

I agree with Negri about housing them in something small for their first few months. The babies may have trouble finding their food in such a large tank when they are so small.
As for feeding, I always make sure there's CGD available in their tank and twice a week I feed them 4 to 6 micro crickets each, removing any crickets that are left by the morning. (usually there's only 1 or 2 left that managed to hide) _________________

Same as everyone else really, faunariums are idea for keeping baby cresteds in. They allow you to easily monitor them and see if they are taking food properly etc. And then moving them on to the large viv when there older. _________________ 0.0.1 Rhacodactylus ciliatus (Crested Gecko) |
