Ball pythons in the new snake room

I have set up a first rack in a new snake room.... ambient temperature is 24-25 degC and the heat strips are set to 32 degC.

Just wondered (assuming your temps are similar what level of condensation you get in the contico's?

Ventilation wise I have a row of pencil diameter holes about 3/4" apart running the length of both sides...

Appreciate your comparisons please Smile

Generally no condensation at all till they sh%$ everwhere, then they're soaking. I dont mind personally, makes it easy to tell when a tub needs cleaning.

No luck with the visions then?

My understanding is that the Visions will be in the country a couple of weeks after Daytona... don't worry I will let you know as soon as I hear...

Can't really understand this condensation thing?? I thought it was mainly temp extremes that caused it?? Confused

How big are your conticos?

How big are your water bowls and where are they in relation to the heat strip?

Maybe play about with more ventilation.

If your room temp is a certain temp lower than the cage temps then you can get condensation.

Mine only condensate when they flood from either the water bowl or mess.

Laughing One of mine does too! My boas are worse, my god, it sounds like a small motor bike! Shocked

As with everyone else, no condensation in my tubs unless they spill water or do their business Cool
